A 1934 9ct yellow gold Cushion Oyster Rolex dress watch with a hand painted enamel dial. A Rolex calibre 10 1/2 Hunter, imported and hallmarked in Glasgow, sold for the U.K. market. This applied to enamel dials and metal dials, this rare dial has no retailer on it and the enamel has no cracks or crazing. The winding crown is original and is called the onion crown, these are often replaced. The crown is unscrewed, wound up manually, then screwed back onto the tube. The glass is mineral not plastic or glass.
