A fantastic vibrant 1950's Piere Sterlé parrots brooch, set with diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds and finished with guilloche enamel, set in platinum and 18ct yellow gold. The foreheads are pave set with round brilliant cut diamonds set in platinum, both parrots have cabochon ruby eyes collet set in 18ct yellow gold. One parrot has a sapphire set plumage and calibre cut channel set sapphire tail, the other is set with emeralds in the same fashion. Both birds have exquisite hand painted guilloche enamel cheeks and wings, displaying a vibrant splash of colour. The parrots are perched on an 18ct yellow gold textured branch with leaves.
